The Best Beaches in the United State in 2023

Hawaii & Florida are home to the majority of top 10 beaches for 2023.

That’s per “Dr. Beach,” a.k.a. coastal scientist Stephen Leatherman, who recently published a list of the top US beaches for 2023.

The top place goes to St. George Island State Park in Florida. Along the Gulf Coast, the barrier island park’s nine miles of flawless shoreline are available.

St. George offers more than just fantastic swimming and sunbathing, with natural paths for bicycling and trekking in addition to birdwatching, fishing, boating, and camping.

It’s also a great location for astronomy with less light intrusion and a platform for viewing the night sky.
