When asked about the arrest warrant that had been issued for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former prime minister Imran Khan. Ned Price declined to comment, saying that these were questions for the Pakistani people. These aren’t issues that the US should be dealing with.
A representative for the State Department responded to a question about the escalating political turmoil and chaos in Pakistan by saying.

He said that we talk about freedom of expression and freedom of people around the world to access information. and we continue to emphasize the importance of freedom of expression.
