Rain with Thunder Expected in Karachi from Tonight

US system entered Balochistan, resulting rain in Karachi from tonight.

After the Gulf states, the powerful western system has entered Balochistan, resulting in rain in Karachi from tonight to April 19.

According to News, the meteorological department says that after heavy rains in other Gulf states including Dubai, a powerful western system has entered Balochistan. As a result, cloudy weather is expected in some districts of Sindh today, while strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Padaidan, Dadu, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Mithi during the night.

Apart from this, rains started in different areas of Balochistan, which flooded the low-lying areas, due to thunder and lightning rain in Santsar sub-tehsil of Kaldan, the land connection of more than a dozen villages was also cut off.

In Dalbandin, standing crops got waterlogged by rain since late night, apart from heavy rain in Pak-Afghan border area, cattle were washed away in flood-relief.

Harnai Quetta, Harnai Punjab national highway is completely closed for traffic since 5 days due to rains and floods.

Heavy rain started with stormy winds in the surroundings including Gwadar city, the torrential rain that continued for 3 hours in Gwadar caused destruction, rain water accumulated in most areas and the walls of the houses were damaged by the rain.

On the other hand, the Department of Meteorology said that today the weather will remain dry in most of the districts of Punjab, Islamabad, Murree, Guliyat and surrounding areas are likely to remain partly cloudy.

PDMA

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has said that thundershowers are likely to occur in Punjab from tomorrow, in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sahiwal and Bahawalpur divisions. There will be rain and there are chances of flooding in the river channels of Dera Ghazi Khan, Koh Sulaiman.

According to PDMA, landslides may occur due to rain in Murree and Galiat, there are chances of hailstorm in the districts of upper Punjab, lightning is expected in the current weather conditions.

Director General PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia has directed that citizens stay in safe places to avoid lightning. Apart from this, the weather will remain dry and partly cloudy in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
