Ruet-i-Hilal Chairman: No Rabi-ul-Awwal moon’s sighting on Saturday.
Due to the lack of the Rabi-ul-Awwal moon, the Islamic calendar month will begin on Monday, September 18, and Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will fall on September 29.
Details indicate that the declaration came during a committee meeting presided over by Maulana Azad. Weather scientists and religious intellectuals from various philosophical traditions attended the meeting.
In addition to this, zonal committee meetings were also held in each of the nation’s major cities. After hearing no verifiable reports of moon sightings from around the nation, Maulana Azad declared that the moon had not been sighted.
