BCCI Will Issue Additional Tickets for India-Pakistan Match

BCCI to release 14,000 tickets for the India-Pakistan World Cup match.

The group stage match between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14 in the World Cup is one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament.

Meanwhile, concerns have arisen after Indian police received a terror threat targeting Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

An email threat issued by a terrorist group demanded a ransom of Rs 5 billion and the release of jailed gangster Ravi Bishnoi.

The email originated in Europe, and authorities are taking the threat seriously. If necessary, authorities will review and strengthen security measures for the World Cup games.

“If the government fails to pay us Rs 500 crore and release Lawrence Bishnoi, we will blow up Narendra Modi and Narendra Modi Stadium too. We’ve purchased something because everything is sold in India. No matter how safe you are, you will not be safe from us. If you want to talk, do so at this email.

Authorities are taking this threat seriously. Authorities will review and enhance security measures for World Cup match if they are deemed necessary.

The match against Pakistan will be the third match for tournament hosts India, who open their campaign against Australia in Chennai on Sunday before taking on Afghanistan in Delhi on Wednesday.
