Gold Bar Depicting with Picture of the Holy Kaaba

The Royal Mint, the oldest enterprise in Britain and the official minter of coinage, according to Arab News, the Muslim Council of Wales was involved in the creation of the 20-gram bar featuring the Holy Kaaba.

According to Zawya, the cost of a 20g gold bar with the Kaaba’s purity of 999.9 starts at £1,112.58.

“We have used our great workmanship to create a magnificent depiction of the Kaaba. The holiest place on earth for many people, building on more than 1,100 years of minting expertise.” Andrew Dickey, the Royal Mint’s director of precious metals, suggested that Muslims were to blame.

“With its 999.9g of fine gold content and lovely Islamic-themed protective packaging. This Kaaba gold bar provides a special gift that enables our customers to give the priceless gift of gold during Eid Al Fitr or to use it as a safe investment.”

The Royal Mint donated three of the bars to be auctioned off as part of the launch. According to The National, to help raise money for the victims of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria last month. The natural calamity resulted in the deaths of more than 50,000 individuals.

Ramadan is a time of giving, thus Mr. Dickey was pleased to sponsor Islamic Relief, a well-known Muslim organization, by donating Kaaba gold bars at three UK events, raising almost £9,000.
