MQM-P’s Izharul Hassan announces party to assume administrator role.
The MQM leader described a meeting with Sindh’s Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, in which they also addressed the upcoming local body elections.
“Elections for municipal bodies came up as well. The same powers have been agreed upon from Kashmore to Karachi “Speaking to the media while providing details, the MQM leader remarked.
“A presentation on flood victims was given at the CM House; we talked about the agreement with the PPP; and we will shortly decide on a course of action.”
In reaction to the likelihood of general elections in Pakistan, Khawaja Izhar said, “People are waiting, so elections should be held and elected people should serve them.”

Since neither the Sindh nor the federal governments had enough staff to provide security, MQM’s MPA also expressed fear about violence when commenting on the general elections.
