Pakistan Day Parade Rescheduled Due to Inclement Weather

Islamabad: Pakistan Day Parade today was postponed due to bad weather.

Pakistan Day Parade Now scheduled for March 25, the joint services march that was originally scheduled for Aiwan-e-Sadr.

The Lahore Resolution, which the All-India Muslim League passed on March 23, 1940. Calling for the creation of a distinct nation for the Muslims of the British Indian empire, is remembered on Pakistan Day.

In observance of Pakistan Day on Thursday, the country reaffirms its commitment to achieving Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan as a “genuine Islamic welfare state.” As well as to ensuring its progress, prosperity, and robust defence.

A 31-gun salute in the nation’s capital and a 21-gun salute in the provincial capitals of the country heralded the start of the day.

After Fajr prayers, special prayers for the country’s success and prosperity were said in the mosques.
