Ministry of Foreign Affairs: No special treatment for Pakistan team.
According to Pakistan squad spokesperson Arndam Bagchi, the Pakistan team is as important to us as any other team, and will be given the same attention as any other team.
He said that no special treatment will be given to the Pakistani squad but full security will be provided wherever required.

It should be noted that the government of had approved the visit of the national team to India for the Cricket World Cup last week.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan has consistently maintained that politics and sports should be kept separate, and that Pakistan-India relations should not interfere with sports competition. The team will get full security in India.
Remember, Pakistan’s first match in the World Cup in India will be against the Netherlands on October 6.
