Shah Mahmood Qureshi: Imran Khan to join Long March once able to stand
In front of a sizeable audience gathered at Clock Tower Chowk in Faisalabad on Sunday night, Mr. Qureshi declared that Mr. Khan had asked him to lead the march in his stead. Mr. Khan stated that he would participate in the Long march in Rawalpindi even if he was not fully recovered.
Demanding Resignation
He claims that since Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan were the ones who actually orchestrated the attack on Mr. Khan in Wazirabad, the people of Faisalabad and the entire country demand their resignation. Farrukh Habib, the former federal minister of information and media, and other well-known party leaders also spoke.
