Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 in Pakistan is likely to fall on Wednesday, April 10.
According to Islamabad Astronomical estimates, Shawwal moon can be sighted in Pakistan on April 9 and Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 can be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, chairman of the Central Sawit Hilal Committee, has also said that Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 is likely to be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in Pakistan.

According to Maulana Azad, scientific observations show that the Shawwal moon will likely be visible on 29th of Ramadan this year.
He also pointed out the use of scientific observations and predictions to spot the Eid-ul-Fitr moon.
However, the final decision will be taken by the Central Moon Sighting Committee, which will sit for sighting of the moon on April 9.
If the crescent moon is sighted on April 9, Pakistanis will celebrate the 29-day Ramadan and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10.
The sighting of the Shawwal moon is of great importance in the Islamic calendar, as it marks the end of the month-long fasting period. Religious authorities and moon-watching committees across the country will diligently observe the skies on the evening of April 9 to confirm the new moon.
