Nawaz Sharif not assaulted in Saturday evening attack, clarifie London
When a fight between Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters and the police broke out outside, the leader of the PML-N Nawaz Sharif was Attack on Bond Street London with his two bodyguards and driver. The BLM campaigners had erected a picket to defend their rights. According to Information,
One of the BLM protesters spilled coffee on the car that Nawaz’s driver had stopped close to during a confrontation with the police while they were apprehending an activist. The video shows one individual being led away by police while donning a white coat and carrying signs reading “Black Lives Matter.”
As PML-N activist Khurram Butt tweeted that PTI supporters had attacked the former premier, news of the attack on Nawaz began to spread. After seeing the tweet, Butt told this reporter that approximately 10 PTI employees had attacked Nawaz.
The vehicle of Mian Nawaz Sharif was attacked this evening by PTI goons. No harm has been done to Nawaz Sharif. Alhamdulillah. On Twitter, Butt posted images of the car and a man being hauled away by police, announcing that the attacker had been detained and was in police custody.
Butt later removed his tweet. According to a family source, Nawaz was only present when the BLM and the police clashed; there was no attempt to harm him. The coffee was thrown at a neighboring parked car that belonged to Sharif and was not intended for the former prime.
Police made the claim that they detained one man at the scene but provided no other information.
