Burger seller Hafiz Abdul Qadeer is candidate of the National Assembly election from Chakwal on JUI(F) ticket.

Hafiz Abdul Qadeer is contesting from NA 48 Constituency of Chakwal. During the day, he campaigns, and at night, they set up a burger stall.

Private TV reported that JUI(F) candidates work hard, engage with people throughout the day and host corner meetings.

He has been supporting his family by running a burger stall at night in the famous Bhoon Chowk of Chakwal for many years.

Hafiz Abdul Qadir said that he decided to contest because he was tired of traditional politics and wanted to use his position to help the common man.

Muslim League (N) and PPP have changed the allegations of vote buying.

While the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) awaits the Punjab government’s report on the alleged event that occurred in Lahore on Saturday, the PML-N and PPP have switched accusations of vote buying.

When Attaullah Tarar, the PML-N candidate running against PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in the Lahore constituency, stormed the PPP election office and discovered three people purportedly collecting voter CNICs after receiving payment and an oath of allegiance, tensions between the two mainstream parties.

The PPP reported that its employees had been kidnapped by “the PML-N goons,” commanded by Mr. Tarar, despite the PML-N’s claim to have turned over three PPP supporters to the Kot Lakhpat police.

In addition to posting video footage of his “raid” on the PPP office on social media and providing them to the ECP as proof, Mr. Tarar also published a clip showing three masked individuals purchasing votes at a PML-N election office.

Election cell coordinator for PPP Senator Taj Haider also asked that Mr. Tarar be removed from the polls in a letter to the ECP because of his “hooliganism” at the party headquarters.

The letter stated that when PPP candidate from PP-160, Mian Misbahur Rehman, was conducting campaign activities and preparing poll workers for an upcoming training session, Mr. Tarar, accompanied by “over 300 goons,” broke into his Lahore office.

The letter questioned why Punjab Police personnel were providing support to Mr. Tarar and his forces during the incursion.

The PPP further claimed that police collusion was evident in the harassment and intimidation of its candidates, which were occurring all over Punjab.

Jan Achakzai, the information minister for Balochistan, announced a ban on social media site X, claiming a “terror alert” regarding a possible female suicide bomber in Quetta. He urged political gatherings and election sessions to be held indoors, emphasizing the need for caution.

Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are seeing an alarming increase in violence, including acts of terrorism and threats against well-known political personalities, as the nation gets closer to the polls on February 8.

Public safety is the top priority, and the Balochistani administration urged all political parties and candidates to emphasize security.

A deadly explosion on Quetta’s Sabzal Road and two separate handgrenade attacks that left fatalities in the cities of Jaffarabad and Turbat are among the recent occurrences in Balochistan.

The attacks deeply concerned the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which requested a report from the inspector general and chief secretary of Balochistan.

Two additional incidents of violence included the throwing of a hand grenade at the PML-N office on Qambrani Road in Quetta and the office of PPP candidate Mir Nooruddin Nowsherwani in Kharan.

Increased security was implemented after the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) received threats against fifteen political personalities in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

A sit-in and protest in Khar Bazaar, Bajaur, persisted in the meanwhile in response to the death of National Assembly candidate Rehan Zeb.

Five persons were hurt in an attack on the PPP election office on Sariab Road in Quetta, while PPP candidate Mir Zahoor Buledi’s home in the Kech area was targeted with a hand grenade.
