Israel Launches Strikes on Gaza as Fighting Resumes After Truce Expire

0

Israel resumes fighting with Hamas in Gaza, citing truce violation.

Journalists from Al Jazeera in the Gaza Strip reported that Israel aircraft were heard hovering overhead and that air raids had resumed.

Additionally, there were reports of artillery fire and Israeli air raids in Gaza City.

Witnesses reported seeing fierce fighting between Israeli troops and Palestinian fighting groups in Gaza City and the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli tanks were also shelling the Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps in the center of the Gaza Strip.

According to Reuters, a provisional cease-fire between Israel and Hamas expired on Friday at 7 a.m. (0500 GMT), and neither party made any announcements regarding an extension.

An hour prior to the ceasefire’s expiration, Israel declared that it had intercepted a rocket fired from Gaza, and media outlets affiliated with Hamas reported hearing explosions and gunfire in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave.

Only minutes before the deadline, more sirens warning of rockets sounded in Israeli areas near Gaza, according to the Israeli military.

Hamas did not immediately respond to requests for comment or to take credit for the launches.

The seven-day cease-fire, initiated on November 24 and extended twice, facilitated the exchange of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners for dozens of hostages held in Gaza and allowed humanitarian aid into the beleaguered enclave.

Following the exchange of the most recent batch of eight hostages and thirty Palestinian prisoners on Thursday, Qatar and Egypt have been working hard to prolong the ceasefire.

Israel had previously stated that it would only halt its ground assault and bombardment in exchange for the release of ten hostages per day.

“We’re prepared for every scenario… Before the truce’s expiration, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s advisor Mark Regev stated on CNN, “Without that, we’re going back to the combat.”

The Government Maintains Petrol Prices while Slashing Diesel by Rs7

0

Islamabad govt maintains petrol prices at Rs281.34/liter for 2 weeks.

Other petrol prices, however, have dropped significantly. For example, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has dropped by Rs7 per liter, while the price of kerosene oil has dropped by Rs3.82 per liter. The price of light diesel oil dropped by Rs4.52 per liter as well.

The updated fuel prices were approved by acting prime minister Anwaar-Ul-Haq Kakar. They will take effect on Thursday at midnight and remain in place until December 15. In order to lessen the impact on domestic consumers, the nation adjusts fuel rates every two weeks, taking into account changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate and the prices on the global energy market.

The interim government had previously lowered the price of gasoline and diesel by Rs2.04 and Rs6.47 per liter, respectively, on November 15.

The petroleum levy (PL) on gasoline and diesel is currently Rs60 per liter, while all petroleum products are exempt from general sales tax (GST).

Anticipate a decrease in diesel prices, widely used in transportation and agriculture, to alleviate inflationary pressures.

On X, “well done army chief” became a big trend

0

“Well Done Army Chief” has emerged as the top trend on social media X.

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir’s recent maneuvers have stirred a sense of unease in India, drawing attention to the ramifications of his performance Social media users are using the hashtag “Well Done Army Chief” as a major trend.

Anxiety has spread across the border into India as a result of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) involvement into Pakistan’s economy.

The economic revival measures led by Pakistan’s Army Chief have resulted in crucial foreign investments. However, Indian policy circles are concerned about the possible consequences of increased foreign engagement.

As the economic ramifications of these foreign investments become increasingly apparent due to decisive actions by Pakistan’s army chief, concern has grown in India. In response, Indian media outlets adopted a negative narrative, overshadowing Pakistan’s efforts to revive the economy.

Concern grew in India

As the financial benefits of these foreign investments become more apparent, India’s concerns have increased as a result of Pakistan’s army chief’s decisive actions. Consequently, the Indian media has adopted a narrative that is unfavorable and skeptical of the steps taken to revive Pakistan’s economy.

This indicates that the Army Chief’s prompt actions to revitalise the nation’s economy have been acknowledged. In a surprising turn of events, Indian media sources have attempted to minimise the good effects of these admirable initiatives by casting them in a less favourable light.

Adding fuel to the speculative fire, Indian analysts have suggested that Pakistan’s businesses may be privatised as a result of UAE investments, albeit under the pretence of diplomatic criticism. Still, this is a controversial claim that needs more investigation.

In the meantime, the recent inflow of capital from the United Arab Emirates has propelled the Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index to an all-time high.

The United Arab Emirates‘ strategic allocation of billions of dollars towards projects under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has caused concern in India regarding the investment facilities specifically designated for Pakistan.

New Tesla Cybertruck Potential Spec Leaked: Everything we know so Far

0

First new Tesla Cybertruck deliveries on Nov 30 specs for customers.

Confirmed is the new Tesla Cybertruck delivery date

Customers of Cybertruck have been waiting for their cars for almost four years, and on November 30th, a few fortunate people will finally receive the keys.

It is probably only going to be an event for a select group of Tesla insiders, so don’t get too excited just yet. Most customers will be required to wait until 2024.

Musk claims that Tesla “dug its own grave with the Cybertruck,” indicating that the company has had a protracted and challenging road to get here. There have undoubtedly been many challenges in the process of developing a truck with this level of technology integrated and a design ready for mass production. In order to create the body panels, Tesla had to develop a 9,000 ton pressing machine and an ultra-hard stainless steel that it had to invent itself.

By the end of 2023, production will begin gradually, and by 2024, the assembly line will be operating at maximum capacity. Regarding cost, there is some speculation that the starting price for a single motor car will be between $50,000 and $41,000, though this has not been confirmed yet.

Whether or not the Cybertruck will visit the UK or even Europe is still up in the air. In the UK and throughout Europe, Tesla eliminated the opportunity to pre-order a Cybertruck last year, and it hasn’t come back.

Leaked specs for a potential Tesla Cybertruck

The Fast Lane EV YouTube channel recently released a video that purported to display some leaked specs for this truck from a Tesla insider, in addition to a confirmed delivery event.

These specifications are unverified, but they list a weight of a substantial 3,025 kg for the dual motor version and a potential 3,125 kg for the more potent tri-motor version. According to these leaked specs, the Cybertruck, which Tesla has already confirmed will have a 1,587 kg payload capacity, may be able to carry an additional 190 kg in the frunk.

Once more, it’s critical to approach these specifications with caution. Who this Tesla insider is and how they obtained this information are unknown. If this is accurate, the Cybertruck will weigh more than 4 tons when fully loaded, necessitating the need for an HGV license in order to operate it in the UK.

According to this specs list, the Cybertruck’s dimensions could be 2,029 mm wide and 5,669 mm long. This would put it at about the same width and slightly shorter than the Ford F150 Lightning.

Design of the new Tesla Cybertruck

With its quirky design, Musk’s 2019 unveiling of the Tesla Cybertruck certainly raised eyebrows among consumers and the media. After four years, the production model bears a striking resemblance to the avant-garde concept car.

Design of the new Tesla Cybertruck

It looks like it was created entirely with a ruler, resembling an axe head on wheels. The body consists mostly of unpainted stainless steel panels, potentially reducing manufacturing costs.

X (previously known as Twitter) has been inundated with images of the Cybertruck in use at events and for development testing. The concept’s stubby bonnet, full-width light bar, and enormous single windscreen wiper are all present on the front end.

The practicality and interior of the new Tesla Cybertruck

The new Cybertruck’s interior is extremely simple, as one might expect from a Tesla, with a large screen taking center stage on the dashboard. It appears to have a squared-off version of the wheel found on the new Model 3, rather than the steering yoke found on the Model S and Model Y.

The practicality and interior of the new Tesla Cybertruck

The Cybertruck, according to Tesla, has a 2,830 liter lockable cargo capacity. This comprises the frunk, the load bed dubbed the “vault” by Tesla and additional storage located behind the side windows.

Because the Cybertruck has built-in 120- and 240-volt power outlets, it can function as a portable mini power station. Additionally, it has an air compressor built right in.

Performance and new Tesla Cybertruck motors

The Tesla Cybertruck will be available with two or three motor configurations from the time of launch. Musk also made hints in 2021 about the availability of a quad-motor version, though it’s unclear if that will happen right away.

In addition to having rear-wheel steering, this four-wheel drive vehicle will be able to “crab walk,” just like the Hummer EV. When off-roading, the vehicle’s four-wheel steering allows it to maneuver the truck diagonally, like a crab would, to get around big rocks and boulders.

The all-wheel-drive, three-motor Cybertruck will reach 60 mph in less than three seconds, according to Tesla. The entry-level single-motor with rear-wheel drive takes 6.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph, whereas a dual-motor all-wheel-drive model completes the same sprint in less than 4.5 seconds.

Tesla Cybertruck’s new batteries: megawatt charging, extended range

According to Tesla, the Cybertruck with three motors can travel 500 miles between charges.

The base rear-drive Cybertruck can only travel 250 miles between electrical top-ups, while the mid-spec dual-motor model can travel 300 miles.
