Imran Khan to launch Azadi PTI Long March from Liberty Chowk in Lahore

The arrangements have been finalized for the PTI Long march. Former prime minister Imran Khan is staying at their residence Zaman Park amid strict security.

Imran Khan will leave for Liberty Chowk after Friday’s Prayers with the leadership that is senior of party.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised the complete schedule of the Imran khan-led that is long march.

Plan for the long march

  • After Friday prayers, the lengthy march will formally begin at Liberty Chowk in Lahore.
  • On Friday night, the PTI marchers will reach their first goal, which is Shahdara Interchange, from Liberty Chowk.
  • Following Imran Khan’s speech on Friday, the PTI marchers will remain at Shahdara.
  • The long march will resume on Saturday in order to reach Gujranwala, where it will end.
  • The lengthy walkers will arrive at Gujrat on Sunday, where Pervaiz Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, and Moonis Elahi will greet them. Between Gujrat and Jhelum, the PTI marchers will camp in Sarai Alamgir.

  • Usman Dar, the PTI leader, will welcome the marchers in Sialkot. Usman Dar’s residence will serve as Imran Khan’s lodging.
  • Fawad Chaudhry, the core leader of the PTI, will host the marchers in Jhelum on Monday.
  • The march led by Imran Khan will remain in Rawat on Tuesday after passing through Gujar Khan. The leader of PTI will speak to the demonstrators in Rawat.
  • Imran Khan will put the finishing touches on his plan to advance to Islamabad on Wednesday. The PTI workers will join the marchers in Rawat in convoys from South and North Punjab.
  • Convoys from Sargodha, Chakwal, Mianwali, Bhakkar, and Layyah will join the main rally. The PTI central leaders will choose whether to proceed to Faizabad for the next stop.
  • Convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) would be led to Islamabad according to a plan that will be devise.
  • On Saturday, PTI convoys from Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Karachi will join the main rally at Shahdara Interchange.
  • To give them a break, PTI workers will be include in the main rally.
  • It will take four to six days for the Imran Khan-led rally to get to the federal capital.

Interior ministry pens letter to all provincial govts

head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) long march towards Islamabad, the Interior Ministry has reiterated that no political party would be allowed to destablise state ‘through powerful measures’.

Based on details, the ministry that is interior down a letter to all of the provincial governments and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) governments.

“It is imperative that federal and governments being provincial work in unison and follow the constitutional conditions to maintain law and order in the country,” the ministry said in the notification.

“The importance of adhering to the Constitution and laws of the land by all relevant including the area that is federal/provincial/special can hardly be over-emphasised since it is an obligation for all governments under the constitutional and legal framework of the country,” the letter stated.
